I heard if you stay up north during the cooler seasons, you should be able to avoid the heat and humidity but if you are going in the cooler season anyway, the temps will be cool enough to be comfortable in most areas it seems. So that being said, which area of Vietnam is the best if you want to avoid the hot humid air?Â
March and April seem to be the best months from my experience. I have gone sooner in the year and whilst it wasn't hot or anything, it was just always cloudy. You will be able to get away with dressing in pants and even a light jacket in March and April, and you will also avoid the rain and humid air. Even in central Vietnam.Â

Oh, right. That makes sense. I always forget they have such a long rainy season. I would not want my trip to be nothing but clouds, I get plenty of that at home 😜Â
I will look into central Vietnam more. I was thinking I would be stuck up north.Â
