After my husband and I got married, I became quite obsessed with Tanzanite. That is the stone on my wedding ring. I have been looking into its origin and have seen some of the caves they mine in. They look beautiful! I am hoping to make a trip to see some of the caves in Tanzania, possible we will do this for our 5th year anniversary. We are still trying to plan a budget honeymoon and have been married for 8 months now!
The Kuza Cave is probably the most popular. Whilst I have never been here, I have read amazing things about it online. I am just too afraid to go inside caves. When I was in Tanzania, this was the one thing I had no interest in doing.

Do you by chance remember the cost, if any? I would imagine they charge you something to go through them, especially with a tour guide. I am just not sure what is standard for something like this.
