I am not entirely sure when monsoon season is but I know there are areas you can still travel to in India and completely avoid it. For people who are not 100%, when is the best time to travel without having to worry about harsh weather in India? Where is the best place to go?
Bihar, Kinnaur, Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Darjeeling, and Mumbai are all considered zones you want to avoid during the monsoon season. The season typically starts in June and ends after September. Mumbai tends to receive the most amounts of rain but is usually considered the safest. You just have to deal with traffic and travel delays.
